birth and postpartum service and support
certified birth doula (PALS), certified postpartum doula (NAPS), certified lactation educator
Preparing to welcome your baby takes time and mindful planning. Whether your plan is to birth at home, in a birth center, or in a hospital, adding a doula to your care team brings multiple benefits. And your new family will benefit from the care of a postpartum doula during the intense and vulnerable fourth trimester.
I welcome families of all shapes and sizes, including: single parents, LGBTQ, newborn adoption, multiples, and teen parents.

what I do
From our initial meeting all the way through your pregnancy and delivery, I take the time to get to know you, your concerns and your needs.
As your birth doula I am there to provide you with advocacy, continuous emotional and physical support, and answer any and all questions you may have.
informative and compassionate
Over coffee or tea we will discuss what you are looking for in a birth and/or postpartum doula.
I answer your questions, ask some of my own, and you leave with a better understanding of what type of support you would like during birth and after.
As your postpartum doula, I bring a calm and consistent presence to your home as you and your family learn to become confident and self-sufficient in your new role(s).
